Statement
Henry Dinkens, student at Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design. This is my story. My career objective is to inspire and change lives through the expressions of my artwork. I intend to earn degrees in Illustration and Animation. As an illustrator, I will produce drawings for individuals and organizations. I can see myself owning an art gallery and clothing line. Through animation, I desire to create motion picture characters, short films, and digital drawings.
I am motivated to pursue art degrees for three reasons. First, drawing has been my way of escape and relaxation. I see things clearer and it creates space for me to think. Second, I became convinced to seek a career in art after experiencing some successes by winning awards and recognitions in art. Finally, and most importantly, it gives me great joy to see people smile and appreciate my gifts and talents as an artist.
